Recently HAL has declared to develop high altitude pseudo satellite The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) announced on February 4, 2021, that it is developing a futuristic high altitude pseudo satellite with a start-up company, a first of its kind in the world.
HAL Director Arup Chatterjee said that the satellite will be solar energised and become a big asset flying unmanned around 70,000 ft for 2-3 months and taking information.
